Gavin Muldoon

Director

Debra & I built our first childcare facility in 2000/2001, and it opened in June 2001. It was the second building in the new Dannemora subdivision in East Tamaki Heights alongside the new Willowbank Primary School. Our second Centre was in Pakuranga, and though we expanded the capacity, we decided that 30 children were too small for a managed service. We then set up St. Johns for 75 children before grabbing the opportunity for a 100-child centre at Westgate. Our business philosophy is to provide quality care and education, and understanding this would lead to business success. The business has developed into several strategically located childcare centres, with the latest addition a franchised operation.

Kia ora kou tou,

I am a registered kaiako/teacher that holds a Bachelor of Education (ECE), I have around 20 years’ experience in Education including primary school in England, a visiting mentor lecturer for AUT, working in centre’s as well as homebased on the floor and in management positions, as well as tutoring adult literacy and numaracy. I also hold an Electrical Engineering certificate Level 4 and Adult Teaching certificate level 4. My passion lies in quality education, whānau relationships, creating environments where tamariki have a sense of belonging and empowerment, child-led learning, team culture, art, messy play, science, and weaving literacy and numeracy throughout the curriculum.

I have a 2-year-old daughter and her father has been a very supportive partner of 10 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my whānau and friends, hiking, sailing, snorkelling, travelling, reading, and fitness. Welcome to the Just kidz whānau, I am very excited to be on the Just Kidz journey alongside you, providing high quality early childhood education for your tamariki.

I am Wei Luo (Max), and I am originally from Shanghai. I live here with my wife and 2 young children. At Just Kidz Flatbush, we provide a high-quality and large range of learning resources in a stimulating environment. Our professional teaching team are passionate about working with our youngest learners. As a successful business investor, I hope to provide an excellent level of care and education and ensure that Just Kidz is one of the best preschools in Flatbush.

I am Freddy, the Centre Director of Just Kidz Beachlands. I am from China and came to New Zealand with my family when I was 16 years old. I studied engineering as my major and have been involved in building residential and commercial buildings in China and New Zealand. Previous work experience has given me excellent imagination, understanding, execution ability and teamwork. An opportunity led me to join the Just Kidz whānau; I am full of passion and respect to welcome all of you to this beautiful Beachlands Centre. Our team aims to provide high-quality and abundant learning resources to your family and your children. Every member of our team is a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher, and we are fortunate to be a part of your child’s precious growth journey.

Owner – Kelston and Albany

My name is Maggie Xu. I am from Shanghai, China, where I majored in engineering. I travelled around the world working on various high-rise buildings across many cities with my husband, Jason Li and then spent a decade here in Auckland. My husband is an urban designer with a master's in architecture from the National University of Singapore. We have three children: one is eight years old, one is four years old, and the little one is nearly 2 years old. Like all working mums, I value work-life balance a lot. Along with being the owner of Just Kidz Kelston since its beginning in 2020, I have also owned Just Kidz Albany since 2022. I am proud to be a part of the Just Kidz family.

Owner – Ormiston

Hi everyone, I’m Zoey. I am the director of Just Kidz Ormiston Centre. I am from Shanghai, China. My husband Max runs another Justkidz in Flatbush. I am excited to join this team and wish to grow together with everyone here. I worked as a flight attendant for an airline for ten years and gained fantastic travelling experience, so I am eager to explore and try new things. I often take my two children out to broaden their horizons and tap their rich creativity. I am very grateful to Just Kidz for all the company and support, from the birth of my children to preschool, which inspires tremendous potential and nurtures talents in each child. This is why I chose to join Just Kidz Ormiston Centre. Believe me, your children can also discover unlimited potential in Just Kidz. Come and join us!

Owner – Henderson
Kia Ora, my name is Angie, and I am the Centre Director/Owner at Just Kidz Henderson.
I hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Business. I started my teaching journey in 2013. I have a big passion for early childhood education, and I believe every child is unique and has their own potential. I strive to create a warm, fun, positive learning environment where children feel happy, valued, and comfortable.

I have three kids and live with my partner in West Auckland. I enjoy finishing, gardening, travelling, and spending time with my family and friends in my spare time. I look forward to being part of your child's learning journey.
